A Fair Deal for Congleton
My name is Paul Duffy and I am the Liberal Democrats candidate for Congleton.
The general feeling is that nothing is working in Great Briltain at the moment and the country is calling out for a fresh start.
For 14 years the Conservatives have taken the public for granted and their legacy is that public services are broken and we are poorer than we were from the last election.
Copying and pasting the economic and green policies of the Conservative show that Labour and the Conservatives are in reality 2 sides of the same coin.
The country needs a fair deal with the public to fix what is broken in our country and the Liberal Democrats plan for Congleton will include:
- Fixing the NHS - Committing to GP appointments within 7 days and fixing adult social care.
- Cost of living crisis - The Liberal Democrats will abolish the inhumane attack on child poverty by abolishing the 2 child benefit cap.
- A Green agenda - to stop dumping sewage into rivers like the Dane and promote a green manufacturing agenda.
- Fixing the criminal justice system.
- Working for you - I will commit to be a Congleton MP only, no second jobs.
