Zealots are trashing the UK
Dear Sir,
In 2012, Liam Fox wrote: "I believe that the best way forward is for Britain to renegotiate a new relationship with the European Union - one based on an economic partnership involving a customs union and a single market n goods and services."
In 2014, Owen Paterson wrote: "Only a madman would actually eave the single market."
In 2017, Daniel Hannan said: "Absolutely nobody is talking about threatening our place in the single market."
Now all these zealot Brexiteers want the UK to leave the EU's customs union and single market, n the process trashing the UK economy; trashing the NHS, as doctors and nurses from the EU hat we vitally need no longer feel at home in the UK; seemingly prepared to trash our health and that of our children by tolerating the mport from the US of chlorinated chickens and milk from cows with nfected udders, and prepared to destroy the Good Friday agreement that has brought peace to Northern Ireland for the last 20 years.
It is crystal clear that the only group of politicians that have berayed the British people are these hypocritical zealot Brexiteers.
Yours faithfully,
ROBERT DOUGLAS
Congleton.
