Both sides of Brexit debate want the best

11 Nov 2016

It is interesting that both Philip Griffiths, p16 in last week's Guardian, and myself start from the same place, namely what is in the best long-term interests of the country.

Where we differ, is the path to take to get there.

True, the referendum result showed a clear result though that leaves a sizeable number dissatisfied with the outcome.

The early verdict seems to be so far so good though there is still a long way to go.

It is not true however to state that the decision to leave the eu is irreversible. There must be circumstances where the wisest thing to do is admit we have made a mistake and to try again.
