Area needs more ground breakers
Dear Sir,
I would like to add my voice to those who have expressed good wishes and encouragement to the news that the football clubs in Congleton have merged to form one united, linear route for the youth to progress their football career.
What especially interests me is the time and effort that has been expanded to achieve this objective.
Now it is done, it seems all involved are pleased and perhaps wonder why it took so long.
This is similar to many other issues that seem obvious, once they are decided and acted on.
Examples could include using your car less, eating less red meat, travelling less, especially by plane, and turning down your thermostats.
We need more people who can see what will be obvious once they have achieved it.
Yours faithfully,
(DR) PETER HIRST
Middlewich.
